The Scottish Wedding Directory : White Balloon Films
White Balloon Films advertises its Glasgow-based, Scottish wedding videography services in the Scottish Wedding Directory. In the latest edition, we were asked to provide some advice for brides-to-be as to why couples should hire a wedding videographer and what to look out for when doing so. It’s a subject we feel passionately about so here’s what we had to say…
“If your budget allows, look for a wedding filmmaker who uses two cameras, says Stewart Carroll, owner of White Balloon Films along with wife Alina. “It’s the dynamic of two cameras that gives you the cinematic feel of having your video cut between different angles,” says Stewart. “You take this for granted when you are watching TV but a properly edited multi-cam shoot really does feel like you are watching yourself in a movie.”
“Trust us on this one; cheesy wedding videos are a thing of the past! You might be having flashbacks of a grainy 80s montage spliced together with power ballads that you were forced to watch at your auntie’s, but there really is no need to worry. “Good wedding videography is not just about recording a video. It is also about the quality of post-production,” says Stewart Carroll. “Good editing and colour-grading is paramount to a video looking good.”
Now, as it happens, White Balloon Films actually captures your day with three cameras. With Alina and myself functioning as a two-operator team with three cameras, we feel this is the best possible way to capture your day properly.
As for the rest of the article, our friends at the Scottish Wedding Directory were even good enough to include a photo of one half of White Balloon Films in action!
