White Balloon Films loves traveling south of Glasgow to Ayrshire for a wedding at Brig O’Doon! It is such a perfect venue, be it the grand hall for the ceremony and party or the immaculate, manicured gardens for the drinks reception. Pauline and Graeme Nisbet were lucky enough to enjoy celebrating their wedding at Brig O’Doon and we were invited to film their special day. There is something quite magical about the wedding of Katharine and Patrick at Duntreath Castle in Scotland. It has been a while since we have had to use suncream at a wedding but the beautiful Brig O’Doon wedding of Lynsay and Jamie Richardson was one such day where it was very much necessary! Just look at the big blue skies and gorgeous sun-flares in their Glasgow wedding video highlights. Scotland really is blessed with some stunning wedding venues and Ayrshire has a fair few of these, Brig O’Doon being one such venue. From the amazing ballroom through to the manicured lawns of the gardens, it is such a great place to be a Scottish wedding videographer. Dalhousie Castle in Edinburgh is the perfect wedding venue! A spectacular castle from the outside, a gorgeous chapel for the wedding ceremony, complete with an owl to deliver the rings, a magnificent drawing room to host the reception and in the case of Laura and Sean’s wedding, a clear-blue sky day with wonderful sunshine! Laura and Sean’s Edinburgh wedding was a cracking affair. The couple were clearly in their element the whole day and it was such a pleasure to be working away behind the scenes capturing their wedding on video.
