American Elopement Wedding To Duart Castle Scotland
It is amazing how many of our couples come from the USA to elope or get married in Scotland. From the magnificence of the Scottish Highlands to the tranquility and romance of the Western Isles, Scotland always provides our American couples with the wedding experience they were looking for. In this instance, our couple came all the way from America to get married at the legendary Duart Castle on the Isle of Mull and White Balloon Films was lucky enough to film their day.
With no guests, this elopement was a beautiful, intimate occasion and so for events like this, it is more important than ever that your photographer and filmmaker keep a low profile. For White Balloon Films at least, our couples can take this as a given. Alina and I are used to working away discretely to capture your day in our tremendously high production value style but with minimum fuss. That is something everyone in our industry would do well to remember, i.e. the day is about you, not the photos or the video.
That being said, watching this film, you can see that when it was appropriate to do so, we captured some stunning shots of our couple on the Isle of Mull. It’s a truly beautiful island and with our licensed drone capability and all-round filmmaking skills, no one captures Scotland’s beauty better than White Balloon Films. This film is of course just the wedding highlights. The main event is the feature film which for a wedding can range from 15-25 minutes depending on whether you are by yourselves having a small elopement with no guests or whether you are having a huge wedding with hundreds of guests.
